The second collection of James R. Roebuck Jr. contains a comprehensive history of the life of James Roebuck. Many of the materials are related to his long career in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. However, some materials feature his time at the University of Virginia, and travels with family and friends. Topics range from LGBTQ+ advocacy, education, and district materials dealing with issues facing Philadelphia. This is a unique colleciton in that it encompasses a 40+ year career in education and politics.
