Scope and Contents

This collection contains extensive material from 1974 to 2016 regarding Mark Cohen’s legislative work. This collection contains a mix of materials including campaign materials regarding Tom Kovach’s 1997 campaign, pamphlets from the Pennsylvania Society, handwritten drafts of letters and speeches, survey’s regarding public opinion and voter registration, extensive material regarding the 2001 and the 2011 redistricting, including articles, court opinions, Cohen’s testimony to the House Human Services Committee, and maps, information regarding the Delaware Riverfront Greenway Task Force, 2003-2004, information on Amicus Brief regarding Grutter v. Bollinger, 2002-2003, Memorabilia from various Representatives and groups, DVDs on various legislative topics, not included was an unopened DVD entitled, “Deconstructing Post Brothers, Exposing the Truth Behind the Cheap Facade”, extensive audio material on cassettes regarding many topics including the “Reapportionment Task Force Panel”, “Regulating Campaign Financing”, mental illness, telecommunications, drugs, and the “Task Force on the Wine Industry”. Items removed include duplicates, DVDs, and books due to their general nature not fitting the collection
