Scope and Contents

The Gettysburg Monuments Project Collection contains documents related to the efforts of the Gettysburg Monuments Project to preserve and rehabilitate the memorials honoring the soldiers who fought at Gettysburg through fundraising, awareness, and education. The collection consists primarily of correspondence - printed emails and letters. Series regarding fundraisers, events, specific monuments, and grants are also contained in the collection. This collection is an addition to the papers processed in 2010.
