This collection contains the annual reports of Pennsylvania non-profit organizations, committees, and other government entities submitted to the Office of the Speaker of the House. The Speakers during that time were John Perzel (2005-2006) and Dennis O'Brien (2007-2008.)
These were items found in the Chief Clerk's Office that are no longer in use. This collection helps tell the greater story of different Members' districts over time at the two cameras help tell the story of technological advancement.
A bill analysis is a brief summary of the purpose, content and effect of a proposed measure or amendment for the committee and Floor proceedings. It reflects the sponsor’s intent with regards to the bill or amendment. The Bill Analyses from the 1981-1982 Session contain summaries, correspondence, and notes.
The Gettysburg Monuments Project Collection contains VHS tapes related to the efforts of the Gettysburg Monuments Project to preserve and rehabilitate the memorials honoring the soldiers who fought at Gettysburg through fundraising, awareness, and education. The collection consists primarily of personal interviews by Rep. Harry Readshaw and special events related to fundraising and corporate sponsorship of the Project's endeavors.
