Biography
W. Scott Alexander served Bedford, Fulton and Somerset Counties as a Republican in the Pennsylvania Senate from 1887-1890.
Born in Wells Valley, Bedford (Fulton) County, March 13, 1847; educated in public schools; Tuscarora Academy; worked as a public school teacher; printer and editor of the Fulton Republican; studied law with Congressman John Cessna; was admitted to the Fulton County bar, 1870; pursued private practice in McConnellsburg; elected Fulton County District Attorney, 1877-1879; died at McConnellsburg, Dec. 4, 1912.
